At last, a complete change for DJR

From the sponsorship on th skirt, looks like both Biante and CC will be modeling DJR cars again.

I am not a big DJR fan but the change looks good.

I guess he is trying to forget about the past couple of seasons and start fresh.

Good start anyway.

Looks like most of the US sponsored shell cars, same colours, looks good, Shell might be pushing for worldwide consistancy of liveries.

get the feeling that pretty much confirms Max Wilson as the second DJR driver for the year.....

I love it!! Can't wait for some more liveries, especially HRT. There's going to be a lot of high impact cars I reckon. Bit disappointed with Ozemail, not much different from last year, same with GRM. The Ozemail is still nice though, something wilder would've been better.

The more the livery changes from year to year the better it is for our display cases. More cars more colours.

About time too! I think the new livery looks great, I'm Glad the silly season is almost over, really looking forward to the first race at the Melbourne GP where all the bs stops when the flag drops!

I love it, I love it, I love it !!!!!!!

Awesome looking vehicle & hopefully DJR can now return back to the top.

If the press release that is anything to go buy, I might have to take back all those bad things I said about 'Mad Max'

Can't wait to see them in the flesh at the motorsport show on the weekend.

cheers.

Just been cruising round the links looking at new liveries.
DJR: Good, the Konica car is great.
GRM: Yawn.
Ozemail: Yawn.
Dynamik: Great.
SBR: only have the Pirtek car up, Small Yawn.
Just found the Caltex-Havoline car: WOW!!
Can't wait for the Seton, Lowndes, Besnard(?) cars.

Which ones to get?

A "Great Looking Unit". It looks more appetising than the AU series.

Great livery. Finally I have a model to match my Kenny Brack Cart.

I dunno.....

I have done some work with photoshop and have the DJR BA on the desktop since yesterday arvo. I'm thinking that it's a little "Plain Jane". Maybe too much white, or something.

I'm a djr fan, but I think that the cars today need to be not just eye-catching, but strikingly bold. The green eyed monster is a good example. Simple, yet unmistakeable.

I'll keep it on the desktop for a while and see if grows on me.

BTW, the photo of Stevie and Max illustrates the glaring size difference between the two. The race suits hide the reality (unlike lycra), but Steve still looks to be on the bulky side to me.

They are going to have some fun setting up that car for the enduros to accommodate midget max and super steve, that's for sure.

i think DJR actually specialise in tall & short drivers if we look back over the history of DJR.

Johnson & Bowe with little Bowe using a fiberglass seat bolster, then there was Jr & the Rat with the adjustable seat, so I don't think it will be that big of a problem for the enduro's.

I just hope Max is able to give as much techinical assistance to the team as Bowe was as I feel the team has been slowly sinking since his departure.

I just hope we can now put the black year or 2002 behind us & see DJR return to the top again.

cheers.

It's not just the seat, Brad, but the whole setup. I reckon the difference between the two drivers could exceed 20kgs (Max is way smaller than the rat). That means for a start that the car wont be carrying 1350 kgs at Bathurst, but 1370 kgs when Junior is in the car (unless Max uses ballast!!!)

It will make for interesting stuff.

Very true wombat,

Maybe they might keep the two apart & get a 4th driver of a simular size to Jr. I wonder what Tony Longhurst is doing in September & October ???

Either way I can't wait until they hit the track & hopefully start winning again !!!

cheers.:D
