i was just wondering the average age of collectors. i think this has a massive bearing on what cars are made.
One could also ask, what age group use the internet the most....???

Perhaps it would have been better to have a single / married / have kids, component as I'm sure it may have shown a varied demographic of us collectors.
cheers.

I am in the older age group.
I am married and have one son, which we are very fortunate to have.
Our son came along late in our married life & I wouldn't change that, not for a moment.
However, these things combined, have an effect on our disposable income.
Not all people later in life, have high disposable incomes.

I have just clocked over to 41, i guess thats why i love all the 60,70,80 & early 90's cars the most.

I am in an older age group, too, but with 3 kids (6, 4 & 2) our disposable income is very small. For instance, I give myself no "pocket money" at all. All our income goes into the Family budget, a large proportion of which is saved for School, Uni., Holidays & Xmas. Therefore, I might buy 1 1/43 a month, if that - being very picky at that.

I'm 20 but I also love some of the older cars that were made and raced before I was born. Income's a bit tight with uni so I only go for the Peter Brock cars in 1:18 and any other try to get them in 1:43
