Network Ten roars into its inaugural season as Australia’s Formula One broadcaster with an unprecedented three days of coverage at the 2003 Fosters Australian Grand Prix by televising the first Formula One Qualifying session and V8 Supercar race on Friday, March 7 between 1.30pm and 4.00pm.

I wonder what will happen when Bathurst is on as it conficts with a GP ???

I've heard that Fox may also take the telecast, but if it means we get to see more F1, then I'm all for it.

I wonder how long it will be until the V8's have a round at the melbourne gp ???

F1 Live.com have just reported that FOX will be doing the Malaysian and Japanese GP's Live as 10 has commitments to Clipsal 500 and Bathurst.

Guess we will all need to go digital and get split screens.

I am purely personal totaly p*ss*d off that the taxiracing has taken precedence over F1. but then again if you take the average IQ ,it will validate the decicion:mad:
You just have to watch the !@#$%$%^^&*&*()_)_+ every day to understand this .

Taxi racing???? Come now, there is no need to poo poo on our motor racing in this country. At least they are cars that can be related to. Try taking an F1 car to the drive in. No radio, no boot, can't get over a speed bump and not enough room in the thing to put your girlfriend let alone to try your luck at slight of hand. Give me a taxi with a back seat any day. It's funny that F1 is loosing crowd numbers and TV viewer numbers while our taxis are getting more and more popular.:D I know Holden ruled the roost for the last few seasons but at least there was some passing going on.

It would be a crime if Bathurst was not shown live & channel 10 would not like to show their face in public if they didn't do the right thing. Put the V8's first & everything else 2nd !!!

As for the average IQ, well it must mean that you don't need much up top to enjoy great Australian racing !!!

At the end of the day we should be happy that we are going to see more F1 than we ever have before, even if it means that we have to wait a few hours to watch a race. Anyway isn't that what 9 have been doing for years.

I've heard that Neil Crompton will lead 10 coverage of F1.

I hope they (10) go to the expense of sending him to each race so that he can cover it properly, rather than just calling what he see on the tellie, considering 10 have said that they are going to call the races themselfs.

Id rather watch a taxi race and see some actual passing take place, aside from what takes place in pit lane.
