Who will be the 2010 V8 Champion?

Title says it all, who do you think will win this years championship.

Personally I think (and would like) Tander will be the one to beat.He had a bard start to 09 but scored most points post Bathurst and really he had more speed than his teammate just some bad luck stopped him from finishing above Davo in the points.

Whincup I feel will be very strong as usual but I'm not sure if he'll dominate like '09 and I belive it will be a 3 way fight between GT, Whincup and Davo, possibly Lowndes as well.

Best of the Fords has to be Frosty but that really depends on if FPR can do anything good.

Would love to see the GRM and Kelly boys up there as well but not 100% sure if they can be title threats but I'd image the Kelly's especially will be stronger this year.

I picked Tander I think 888 May have a teething year in the VE and the experience in HRT with the Holden package may put them over the line.

special mention to Frosty he will be a factor for sure.

Sentimental favorite would be Murph...

GT for mine. Consistently up there since '06. If FPR can give Frosty reliability and he qualifies well, he will be dark horse. Will D will also be up there, but he'll need to be more aggressive to stay up fromt than he was in some races in '09

I thought that one of the new rules for this year was that teams could not pair up their main drivers for the enduros - but I have been known to be wrong - sorry Kashmir for going off topic....

PFR will be fuming on how the stupidily allowed Team Vodafone to switch camps! Ford will want to show that they are no chumps (althought their recent form suggests they are!) :cool:

News the FORD will fully back DJR might throw Courney into the mix . . . but if it aint Winterbottom . . . then it'll be a Holden Quad (probably Tander, Whingecup, Davo and then CL)

I'm suprised Whincup hasn't got a vote.

I voted GT. I'm fairly certain GT will be paired with McConville in the enduros, which imo puts him ahead of the pack already. He wont be happy that Will outdid him in his first year with HRT and might want to let Holden know who their real number 1 is.

I think both T8 Commies, WD and Frosty will be title contenders. I'd say Courtney will win a heap of races, but be too inconsistant to be up there with the others. The Kellys will be good next year too since they've gotten their heads around their cars and team (and had a lot of pace in the later stages of the year). I'd like to see Cheese sneak into the top 8 of the championship too :)

Tander is my guess. Dunno if it was me but Davison seemed to be good at some tracks and a bit average at others. More average than you'd expect from a top driver like him anyway.Also, you missed adding Courtney to the poll mate. He may be Fords leading driver, who knows.;) He might even win the championship. Dont underestimate Whincup.

I remember when he narrowly lost the Championship by 2 pointsin 2007, everyone was saying, he's gone. He wont replicate it and he will whither away. But look what happened, 2 Championships in a row and he has blown Lowndes away :(:(:(:(

Whincup has driven well over the last 3 years. Yes, he was in a good car, but so has all the top drivers out there.

But there is a question mark over the VE. But remember, they are in a technical alliance with PMM, and I bet ya PMM have given them all the technical stuff. T8 will come out fighting this year.
