View Full Version : New AutoArt list for 2010 - Volvo 240T???? ATCC winner a remote possibility????

Scanning another forum (Scale18 newsboard), there are rumours floating around that AutoArt will produce the 1986 Volvo 240T in its european racing colours as it appeared at the Zolder round (the same livery as the 1986 ATCC winner, albeit with a different sponsor).
If this were to be true, the one hole I never saw being filled by Biante or CC in the ATCC winner's theme as I never would have considered the Volvo mould would have been financially viable for an Australian manufacturer to develop on their own.
It would be great for those of us who collect ATCC winners if Biante could consider a Robbie Francevic version of this model if the rumours are true. The rumours also contain some announced models, like the Jaguar XJS (one can only imagine that this will some time in the future provide the mould for the 1985 Bathurst winner) and if you like Nissans (like me), the R35 SuperGT version.

Yes I'd have the ATCC winner. Laurie Hazleton version as well.

It would be great to get a few more brands in the collection that aren't Holden or Ford. I'd get a Volvo. You would imagine the production numbers would be pretty low (which would be good).

I would love the Francevic ATCC winner. I collect ATCC winners and that would be another for the collection. Cheers

Francevic was an awesome driver too....
Not sure what he did after ATCC but I've seen him in the volvo and I think in some early skylines and he had some talent!

So JB wasn't just joking at the Bathurst Collectors night about a Volvo being made. Bring it on, more different makes and models the better I say!

Well AA have also said somewhere they're making the 850 Super Touring car. Biante could easily grab that mould if it were made.
But apparently AA have been a bit sus with their release lists, not making several cars. It's still a wonder why the main BTCC Super Tourers from the late 90's haven't been done by anyone.

The Jag will be done by AA/Biante as the Bathurst winner and the GT-R Super GT will be done in two livered versions (Calsonic and Xanavi) and one un-livered verison (black colour) - it will not be sealed.
if you like Nissans (like me), the R35 SuperGT version.
basman checkout the skyline thread, I have posted the R35 GT-R Super GT cars in there.

The Xanavi GT-R is few pages back.

These look really good.
Put me down for a 1986 240T ATCC winner in 1:18.
