Just searching the web and I found this site, http://www.javasigns.com/decals
it is for doing decals and thought it might help some of us out.

Most are stamps/tampos, except when CC decide to use waterslide :laugh4:

so what do ther have some dude individually stamping everything? They always look so crisp an like they've been painted on..

This is Pad printing (same as Tampo) the pink rubber bit picks the ink up from a plate that had the image cut into it. This looks like a basic machine but you get the idea. My old work place had a pad printer that could do 6 colours at once. Would love to go back and Pad print Marlboro on a few cars :D
