I cant wait, the Nationwide cars look awesome and Sprint Cup should be great this year.
Since they are having standard start times all season should make things bit easier to work out when they are on telly.
Going to the Sylvania 300 in New Hampshire in September so really looking forward to seeing a US Nascar race live, having been to so many at the Calder Dome.
Also if anyone didn't know already,
On the same weekend as the Sonoma Sprint Cup Race, 2000 Miles up north is a Nationwide Road Course race at Road America.
When I meet Tony Stewart no one had told him the news yet !
This would be an interestng weekend, as the "Ringers" will most likely be at Road America instead of Sonoma.

OOOOOh yeah love NASCAR. The racing is fantastic, the cars may not be anything like the roadies but hey who can beat a 500miler that comes down to the last lap and then has 3 lead changes......Go Marcos and Go Mark Martin for the oldies.....LLLLLLLLLLLLove it.

Ambrose, Busch and Edwards all flew between a Nationwide race (Michigan?) and Sonoma last year, and the year before, but i guess the ringers probably aren't on that big a pay packet to do the same. Might give Ambrose a better chance so he doesn't have to fight his way through so many of them at Sonoma?

Interesting to see Richard Petty Motorsports have switched to Fords for 2010, good to see a few more on the track. Does anyone know if their alligned in some way to Roush-Fenway Racing, as I thought all the Ford teams were trying to make an alliance?

Richard Petty Motorsport is a mix of a handful of Team, the old Evernham-Gillett Motorsport, Petty Enterprises and as of this year Yates racing, which did have allignment with Roush through the Roush Yates Engines program.....As Yates Merged with Richard Petty Motorsport, they run the same Roush Yates motors as the Roush-Fenway cars do.
