Hey Guys,

I have recently purchased a 79 A9X Bathurst winner and I have vinyl Marlboro stickers on order.

Now my question is what is involved in applying the bonnet decals properly without damaging the split pins?

Are they hard to pull out and put back in again and what’s the best way of doing it?

Any helpful advice is much appreciated.

Cheers.

Depending on where you got your your decals from, the bonnet decal should have holes pre cut.

What is the best way to take off the bonnet pins?

Hi

I broke one of my bonnet pins while trying to lay the decals on over the top.

If you open the bonnet, and push with a pin/knitting needle from under the bonnet/pin and push up, it should pop off. Don't twist the pin or pull it - then you'll break it. Once off, apply the decal as best as you can, then make a hole in the decal where the pin is, and reapply the pin. Superglu gel form works, but some people suggest using PVC glue is best.

Hope that helps
