I just hope to see lots of the unmade 1:18 scale f1 world champs, but with retards like Minichamps cancelling the Lauda and Prost McLaren MP 4/2's I don't like my chances.
Much more important to re-release all the Schumacher and Senna cars.

Just looked on an english web site that had a list of 2010 release's from Minichamps, hardly any 1/18 F1 cars.

Because Minichamps is obviously run by idiots.

I can say that the people running Minichamps are far from idiots Wayne. Unfortunately F1 just isn't what it used to be. Much like V8 Supercars I guess.

Yes, the Toy Fair was pretty much the highlite of my working year but I wont miss the snow and long train rides.

I have been collecting 1/18 F1 cars for over 15 years and it looks like there will be less and less, It has been many years that any have been available in NZ (not that I have ever bought any here in NZ, so I am probaly part to blame)

by the looks of it there are some good historic 1/43 cars, early 70's as well as pre war Auto Unions etc.

While we're on the subject of F1 and Minichamps I have it on good authority that the Mercedes GP Petronas MGP W01 will be presented on the Minichamps stand...... in 1:1 scale!

Has the 1963 or 1965 Clark Lotus 25 been made before Wayno? If not, you have one new model to look forward to, made by Spark!

In 1:18? If so I'm gonna die!
I do not care about price as I will die for a Jim Clark model! :D
At the moment I only have the exoto SA car from his last victory. I know it doesn't fit into my themes as such but it's Jim Clark!

Richard Poole

Please don't die. Then Brad will have to moderate the entire forum by himself. That wouldn't be cool.

been there, done that and it's not cool!!!

Good news about spark as if their 1/43 are anything to go by then a 1/18 should be stunning, however the price could be interesting.....I can't wait for more 1/18 WC as there are so many holes in this current theme of mine & it's mainly due to them not being made, apart from the W196 monoposto and streamliner of course :(

I'm not sure I will, depends on cost. Exoto has plans to do 1/18th Transporter's and the retail for those are going to be $1500 US.

Dear Biante,

As a big fan of Group A cars Im really glad to see this car is being made. I also enjoy seeing any Australian touring car model that is not the usual Holden/Ford being made and would easily buy such a version if one was made available.

A 1986 ATCC winner would be an obvious first choice or my personal preference the 1985 Bathurst 1000 Francevic/Bowe car.

Please make this happen in due time. No rush.

Regards

Pug205 :)

In one of the other sites you posted Lee, there seemed to be a plain metal body next to their 1/43 F1s that looked to be the sport version as well.

The 1/18 will have a home here. Aa have a few nice things announced.

That Solido Loeb C4 - Ireland dosn't look to shabby.

Pre production prototype. I saw this model at a trade show before Christmas and the shape is ok but the finish was very much by hand!

Relating to the 1/18 Premium Classixxs version of the Porsche transporter, (Schuco made?) go to http://www.premiumclassixxs.de/start.htm then click Serie 1:18.
You can see the actual size of the transporter versus human scale.

Ixo have a Duval Focus with what looks suspiciously like an Oz door plate. Looking at the Spark F1 there is what looks awfully like a Mac M2 behind the central Leyton House in one of the group shots.

Also a good thing NEO don't have a distributor down this way :)
