This show is unbelievable,
Sure the cars are awesome.
I just love how the main man is only interested in getting a sale for himself.
watch him put pressure on the sellers to lower their reserve, just si he can gain another sale.
very few if any say no.

reminds me of a few years ago when I was hunting the auctions looking for a near new car for my wife.

I watched how the dealers operated and as I knew a few of them , mixed & mingled with them.
one day the principle of the auction house which was very big, joined the dealers in the area at the back of the room, as from here they could read the crowd and in some cases force the price up on a desperate and unsuspecting buyer.
any way the principle with one hand behind his back to attract a bid would study the wanted list of the dealers whilst they were distracted in conversation.
when that vehicle came up he would wave his hand behind his back,
therefore attracting a bid from the dealer area.
This caused the dealers to react by posting a higher bid thinking another dealer was bidding on the wanted vehicle.
quite comical to watch.
this auction house even had a lunch bar called "The Wood Duck" a favourite terminolgy for any easy target in the car game.

The way that the auction guy comes up to the bidders and rests his arms on their shoulders, and puts his face right in the bidders face would be enough to turn me off bidding.

Like most things in the US its a little over the top but I dont mind watching it. Thomas they seem to also have more Corvettes for sale than were originally built.
