The funny thing was with this one that the steering did not actually break and both wheels were locked in this positionand couldnt even move the steering wheel - was fun putting it on the truck........

Great weekend and a fair bit of carnage on Saturday especially in the German Cortina category (944's :D) and there was a big off coming on to the main straight on the 2nd last race yesterday as a BF Falcon hit the wall quite hard from what I beleive as I had to leave after the Formula Fords and heard it on the FM radio then listened on the UHF whilst going home.

What is the other car just poking out from the end of the wall?

I was a long way away, but from memory that is just the tyre bundles on the pit wall up that end. Because many cars have lost it on the outside and slammed into that wall.

I was on the inside of the wall and yes it was just the tyre bundle as there was no other car involved. Just the tyres fallen over.

Yep I got that one and I think that he crossed the finish line sideways for the chequered flag!!!! Yesterday I picked up 6 and 4 of them were oil related... and picked up a few today including one from yesterday with the same issue, needless to say that I didnt need to adk him were his garage was ;)

Surprisingly enough the HQ's have been well behaved for the past two days.

Sorry Smokey that I couldnt hang around today but duty called as usual.

totally agree mate i dont think im really gonna bother posting any of mine from today or yesterday as if block off the entire track down to only about 200m and that included the grandstand area what a joke give me dandy road corner anyday

Nope, I was running single yesterday and headed home after the Sports Cars race 1.

It was good in one of the formula ford races they were under safety car, sc pulled into pits to restart race and on the radio was green flag then about 2 seconds later RED FLAG, RED FLAG, RED FLAG. Car never made it to control line.

I heard some rumblings around the place about security and even saw things nearly get out of hand at the gate on Sunday morning between someones team member and the control freak at the gate.

Car F/Ford rolled not even on a racing lap, near last turn (Norton 360 corner), little damage, roll bar, helmet scraped and light scratches on about 2 fibre-glass panels.

The Kent engine is a very old engine and other than Formula Ford, has not been used since the Lotus Europa and the Caterham Seven in the mid '70s.

The new engine is the 1.6 Fiesta engine

I heard about this yesterday, Shame no one informed him of the process (although I guess its the owners responsibility). Shame to see any cars go home when they could be on the grid. Hope it gets sorted out in time for next year/Magic...Why didnt you go and get the Mustang???
