I live in Perth and because of a rule of the code of practise for TV about C rate shows being on a certain time, we missed the drivers debriefing and also the 3rd V8 race. I was disappointed that Bill woods and Neil crompton did the commentating. ITV the english broadcaster, practicalls speaks to every driver after they retire give or take in 10 minutes after they depart the trach. Also Martin Brundle has a wealth of knowledge and technical knowhow about the sport, which makes the broadcast more interesting. Still, the Channel 10 did a good job bring the sport over three days and also good interviews and a good call, but Channel 10 please leave it to the EXPERTS!

i thought the F1 commentry was pretty god but ive never really watched it before. i was just annoyed about not getting to see the V8 race (whole 2 laps) i think it would of been great to watch.

Hey Chups,
The 2 laps was not that exciting, the only decent part was Morris' crash and even then they didn't show him smashing into the wall only clipping dumbrell.

I agree,
That is one thing I have against CH TEN, There camera crews always miss the good stuff!!!! F^#@ing Useless!
I agree the european commentator are the best (Murray Walker and James Hunt) I was just glad that Neil Crompton wasn't bad! At least he has a long history of Motor racing in a range of classes, It could of been allot worse...
And what was Kevin McGee doing in the pits!!!!
He interviewed Mark webber (well it lasted 10 seconds) He had no idea on how to extract information from someone under a time constraint...This is how it went....
K Mc : So mark your car broke.
M.W : Yes!
K Mc : (Long Pause)..........O.K. thanks Mark, back to you Neil!!!!
No mention of how well he was going and the placing he was in or how he felt about being in such a great position and then having to drop out of his home GP??????
Now that's revitting interviewing.......
Well That's enough *****ing from me...:)

Neil Crompton has always been a professional and I enjoyed his efford.
Billycart Woodduck has not got a clue and was producing Verbal dyarie please have him back with the V8's please
some of his ;there is a sprinkeling of ferrari fans out on the circuit!
Honda is a newcomer to Formula 1?
every time he opened his gobb it was switchoff untill Neil was back on
The best thing was the pause to hear the sound plus see the incar pictures :D

A few problems here.
Murray and James haven't comentated together since about 1993 and James has since passed away. Murray retired from commentary a few years ago. Martin Brundle and James Allen share the duties now for ITV.
What was Kevin McGee doing in the pits? I don't know why he was there but Darryl Beattie was doing the interviews.
Australia will take the direct ITV feed for the rest of the year.
I was quite happy with the commentary actually, rather that than have Eddie Mcguire in there.

I thought Neil did a fantastic job & I have to argee with you ff about Bill, in the end I just wanted to give him a good bash around the head to shut him up!!!!
Well for all of those knockers of the F1 telecast you can rest at ease as ITV will call the rest of the season, as it always was with 9.
I must admit that the Morris crash should be a big wake up call for 10 to install at least 1 camera in every car, as I too was disapointed with them missing his impact with the wall.
Getting a chance to ride with the Shu for part of a lap in total silence (other than the marvalious sound of the Ferrari V10) was awesome !!!!
cheers:D

GTS COUPE:
you must have a problem when it comes too picking on someones comments...:(
I was referring to the above commentators as being the best..Not that they are the current commentator,
And yes I did mix up the Kevin Mcgee with Daryl Beatie....And I'm sure everyone knew what I ment!!!

Chups all we in Victoria got to see was the initail contact Morris had with Dunbrell & then the smoking wreck where it lay in the middle of the track.
There wasn't much to get excited about, but the sooner they get camera's in every car out there the better.
cheers.:D
