how to make and size 1/43 decals...help needed

gday all, i need guidence im making and measuring decals for 1/43. what are the main keys to sizing ? is there a program or is there a web site to explain or can you all help. is it all done by hand and ruler, as you can tell not very smart but can fix anycar...he he. any help appreciated as always from all you guys, cheers

There are a few threads if you do a search but this is what I do, its quick and easy. When doing mine I create (or import) the pic making it fairly large in MS Paint, say 300x300 pixels. Don't resize in MS paint, it makes a dogs breakfast out of the image, especially for 1/43. You can then resize them with zero quality loss in MS Word (insert menu/ add picture/from file/yourfile.jpg) and then double-clicking the image and going to the size tab and entering how big you want it. Print it out on normal paper first to test fit. It will need some tuning because of borders in the image etc. I presume you are using waterslide media, so print, seal, dry and apply.

gday all ,im trying to use ms paint, i have a picture but dont know how to isolate the sponsor from the rest of the car.i can cut out a word but how do you remove the rest of the picture example doors and hanldes from the word.

nah it was different and had a diamond on the i and was angled across two doors. thanks for effort though

You'll have to do it by hand in MS Paint then. If its high enough resolution you dont have to be surgically precise, because you'll be scaling it down a lot. If you like, post it here and I'll have a go.

yep thats the car but im doing the white and black version of it. i need all those ones, i have all from image searches exept denistron side ,plaspak headlight and displaytec on front. not sure whats on back as i have know pictures of back.

im doing a code three and need to print the name of driver but its white, any help appreciated. i have white decal paper if that helps. cheers

If your using white decal paper all you need to do is print black around the letters leaving the name white. Cut the decal as close as you can to the name and stick it on. Other wise your going to need an ALPS printer.

gday all, ive got all my decals rwady to asemble and print but cant seem to get them all on the same page in word, it removes what is there when i add others any thing im missing or am i just that bad at using a computer...
