Any news on when this model is coming out.
I'm pretty sure it was meant to come out this month.

Yeah I can't wait to add another Bathurst Winner to the collection and it will look great next to the 92 'godzilla'.

This one will look good in anyone's collection.
Then I think the next one in the Bathurst collection will be the 1996 Lowndes/Murphy Commodore.

I think the next one after the 91 Nissan is the 69 Colin Bond monaro.

You are probably correct.
The Colin Bond Monaro followed by the Lowndes Murphy Commodore.

Or it could be the 1966 Mini Cooper S of Aaltonen and Holden. I heard this was coming 2nd quarter of 03, or what about the XA GT 1974 winner of Goss and Bartlett - that too is due out this year some time.
Although I think RowdyDave is correct with the Monaro due out in April.

Time will tell. But it looks good either way.

It certainly does Grubby as I have the following down for release this year some time:
1966 Mini Cooper S
1969 Monaro GTS
1974 Falcon XA GT
1991 Nissan GT-R
and now news of the 1996 Commodore VR
Looks good to me :D Those Bathurst winners are slowly coming together in my cabinet, better start clearing a few more spots hey.

It only means a couple for me.
Holdens, Skaife & Lowndes cars for me.

Just looking at models in transit the 91 Skyline is on its way (in 1:18) . The picture of the model looks great, a big improvement on the 92 Skyline especially the wheels.

This model does look good. In transit - what would that make it, a few weeks away.

A Friday release would be nice but if it is in Transit wouldn't that mean the container has just been loaded onto the ship.
Grubby
It will look very nice beside my 92 Bathurst winner prototype.

I payed $350 (inc post) for the 92 GTR.
I thought it was reasonable considering what others were asking...
It is in excellent condition too...

Amazing ,how a model can turn around into this much appreciation. I always liked it by the way,and the Benson & Hedges BMW's plus the Alfa's would be welcome by me as well.
I do remember that these Nissans were sitting in the shops and almost everybody ignored them while they are a Bathurst declared winner and it must be said it is a nice model , it certainly breaks up the Holden/ford lineup(this is why I have also put in the Audi's from Bathurst).
Where will this lead to in the next 10 odd years as from what I do understand, these will not be made again!
one other can be in my book become scarse; the 2000 Tander/Baggsy winner ,as there are only VERY few made!!

FF weren't there over 4000 of these produced. I wouldn't really call that "VERY few made"

I actually picked up the 2000 Tander/Baggsy winner at the HSV store at Westfields Parramatta on 22 April 2003 for $49.95. They had quite a few in stock. Cheapest I've ever paid for a Biante?Autoart model
