I've got some tyre bundles made from a mould in my Lowndsey dio that Graeme (HDT337) made for me. He did an awesome job on them but I assume it would be pretty time consuming.

When i can afford it I'm going try moulding a few things myself, what i really want is room for a vac form table as well.
And when we all work it out - I need a mould in 1/24 for a Nota Formula Vee body.
I'm flat out trying to make a plug for it - sculpture is not my thing, it turns out.

There are companies online which you can send your CAD to and they will make it and send it to you.

Yeah, they are pretty cool, but not cheap. I'm sure Ive seen one where 3 lasers (X, Y and Z) intersect in fluid and harden the substrate for rapid prototyping of larger items. Also ones that use resin droplets for full colour 3D objects.

Do you already have a body to make a mold from, I have to do a mold of a 1/24 HK Monaro for a mate for his slot cars.

They done something like that on Myth Busters once to make a model of a Chevy Coupe or something like that, it was an exact replica in resin.

Sorry, meant the Monaro. Just in case you needed one since I have a unmade kit.
