Congratulations to Mark Webber for being this years Top Earning Sportsman for Australia. This years list is as follows:

BRW's top 10 Australian sports earners:

1. Mark Webber ($13.4m)
2. Andrew Bogut ($12.6m)
3. Chad Reed ($7.5m)
4. Casey Stoner ($6.8m)
5. Tim Cahill ($4.2m)
6. Marcos Ambrose ($4.2m)
7. Adam Scott ($4.1m)
8. Ricky Ponting ($3.9m)
9. Robert Allenby ($3.6m)
10. Harry Kewell ($3.5m)

Also interesting to note that there are three other motorsport competitors in the Top 10 and that Greg Norman is not even in the Top 10 this year considering he has been in the No1 spot for the past 15 years.

Norman blames personal issues (including his second marriage break-up followed by a third wedding) and the depreciating US dollar for his massive loss in earnings.

According to another article I was reading, the reason he's dropped out is because BRW changed their criteria for this year. The list is now based on earnings made directly from sport, eliminating most of Norman's earnings which are largely from business interests rather than playing tournaments.

Wow, I'm surprised Chad Reed is above Casy Stoner.
I suppose a lot of his money would come from endorsements.

Anyone know the salary of an average supercross (or whatever it is called) rider in america?

Gold, surprised that Bogut "only" earns 12 mill, thats not much at all for a player of his calibre in the NBA
