well well well... Bathurst is only 2 day old and the stories are here already.... first up something amusing regarding Murph's and the now infamous "potty" episode...

My personal favourite part of the above story is the quote from Brad Jones from Ozemail racing...

"I don't think they got the aero package right, it just doesn't have enough rear wing. Somebody whacked it over someone, and I'm not sure who did the whacking, but the end result is we've got less aero than the Commodores."

on a side note.. knowing that biante is gonna produce the infamous DJR "rock" car...

would there be the possiblilty of them also now producing the KRT porta-potty? complete with a little murph inside?

Perkins slammed the fence this morning., major damage.

Skaife car some form of oil leak and sending out a smoke screen.

hopefully the CPR car will be back before shootout.. if not I dare say there will be some tired CPR guys tomorrow after the all nite rebuild...

HRT says that the oil situation is fixed on the No 1 car.. so here's hoping..

Jim Richards posts a 2.08.147 time on his shootout lap in the HRT No. 2 car.. fully 0.54 seconds infront of DJR's Jnr Johnson..

might we see Richards on pole?

on a side note they also said that holds the record tomorrow of the most Bathurst starts at 32.. more then brocky and whoever else.

oh.. channel 10 have lied to us again.. stating on the TV since 12 today they are showing the shootout live when it happens.. yet the TV still has the Konica race and Im watching the shootout on webcast...

GOOD JOB to Murph's for lowering the record yet again with a 2.06.85 and takes the record ALSO for being the first lap under 2.07 at Bathurst....

my only thought now being cosidering how much Murph's has been slammed this year with penalties and such I wonder how badly they are gonna hit him for opening the door and such before the car is stopped..

apart from that... could this be Murhp's year for a bathurst win?
