For those of you who follow or are interested in this series.......
The final round at MONZA (500km) was run over the weekend and my beloved TEAM LISTER finished on the podium for 3rd place.
Also Team Lister came 2nd overall in the teams championship this season, second to you guessed it, BMS Scuderia Italia (Ferrari).
Given that the Lister Storms have been running for 9 seasons with basically the same cars this is an outstanding result for the British team.
Also it is the 10th birthday for the Lister Storm, which was launched at the London Motor Show, October 1993. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISTER!!
The official FIA GT site is at www.fiagt.com
Lister website is www.listercars.co.uk
Looks like the championship will run to 11 events next season, with DUBAI being added to the calender.
There are LISTER STORM roadcars in Australia, anyone seen one?
Cheers,
Timbo.
I'll try and upload a pic of one of my 1:32 scale LISTER models. Love the paint scheme!!
