I was just looking through the range of display cases on this site and there is a new photo of the Biante display case in black and grey (item number mb100). It looks good (anything with holdens in it would look good though).:p
Any idea when it will be available Admin?

I thought i would take a look at the above mensioned display case, and i must say it looks nice.
Although that is not the point in this post.
What i wanted to say was i noticed that all the models in it look like (obviousley) Holdens, including the Red Monaro and a yellow one ??, but if you look on the botom row of the case, i noticed there was a convertible (possibly astra looking) brocky's '97 bathurst vectra and an orange car body which looks sort of like an old monaro but has no chassis or interior....... and also on row 4,2 there are two 1:64 cars which look like K-Mart racing and what looks like the HYL car or HRT car is this just Biante teasing us again as they have been doing oh so often lately, i think a please explain is in order.
Admin like sneaking in little pics of up and coming models into shots for something totally different. Viewing this web page is getting to be a bit like a where's wally book

i did some investigating today and yes, they are biante 1:64 scale cars. in the picture are the K-Mart racing and the HYL cars. i was told that there will be some avaliable possibly before Wanneroo. i actually got to hold toe team brock one and i saw the HRT 2002 car and i must say they look AWSOME. they are expected to retail for between $10 and $15 but the extra is definately worth it. they are true to scale unlike certain other brands, they have proper wheels not just painted silver stars and the livery and decals are incredibly detailed (i was told the HYL 'flame' livery looks spectactular)
the first ones to come out will be :-
HRT 2002
HYL 2002
Team Brock (Baird)
Kmart racing
Lowndes 2002
Crompton 2002
yes thats right, lowndes and crompton falcons too!!!
I cant wait.

I was hoping someone would confirm what I thought I was seeing. I didn't want to mention anything about the little Commodores just incase I was wrong.
After sneeking in the VS Commodore in the background of the Sierra showroom pics and now this.
It looks like Biante love to tease.

There is no teasing involved as the two mentioned cars are sitting in the front window at triking underneath the prototype Vs comode and the detail is to be seen to be apreciated.

which cars are in the window? i have seen the team brock and HRT 1:64 cars are they the ones you are talking about? they were hidden out the back and only revealed when i asked about them. i would like to know what the silver convertible in the display case is? is it an Astra convertible?

We do not mean to tease!!
Its just that we have all sorts of cars lying around that we have had for weeks and have been working on.
When we take a picture, we don't even worry about what is lying around...same when we filled the display cabinet with Holdens.
They all went in...1:64ths, Astras, body shells etc.
Yes we have a 1:64th range coming out and they will be launched officially at Barbagallo weekend.
Rick Kellys HYL car will be redecorated and unveilled at the race track on Friday.
As well all the HRT and Kmart cars will run "Biante Minicars" logos.
These models are brilliant and should appeal to the younger collector and quite a few others as well...like me!!! Each car has full interior detail, full graphics (even the wheels have up to 3 logos printed on them !!) and come in a perspex display case.
And all for just under or just over 10 bucks, depending on the store.
All our current licensed models will be done, plus a selected range of other Australian road cars.
And you can fit 48 in our new, soon to be released display case!!

It is all cast iron and weighs a Bleeding packet but when finnishes should look very well
taken the copper core out .sandblast make up frame and shelving, lighting where the fan and head go in the radiator pant finnish ,hang on (strong ) wall and fill up with the models

Admin said the 1:64th will be released barbagallo weekend, will it be released at the race track or at the store? as i will be at the track fri/sat/sun, i will be unable to make it to (i asume) triking.
also you said the astra was in the case, i suspected it was, now its confirmed, but will it be released as an opal or Vaxhaul Astra like the zafira and cadet (gemini) or will it be badged as a holden?

The Astra that is in the case is a left hand drive Opel Astra from Minichamps.
