Does anyone know where you can pick up one of the Brock models without having to buy the oil??? You should've seen the look on my wife's face when I told her it was going to cost over $60 for the oil just so I could get the model!!!!

if this is the model that comes from autobarn I would love to know how to get it in WA considering there are no autobarns here....

Regular minicars retail for around $15 inc GST, so there's a starting point - my bet if it is avaliable on it's one, it could be a little dearer.

Didn't Admin say a while back that these models would only be available on the Oil, not for purchase?

they are a nice little model, it made me go home check out synthetic oil on the net to find out more got into all the hype about different oils and ended up purchasing redline oil for the motor, gearbox, and this wetter and wetter stuff for the radiator and that was 160 bucks just there and its only a suzuki hatch.........still havent got the model:rolleyes:

who knows.. like brad said.. minicars come in around the 15 dollar mark but I guess these would be more then that... perhaps even double considering they appear to be limited and hard to get (specially for us WA residents)

if you can find out Rob I would appreciate it.

btw.. did you see my thread about a livery site? your input would be appreciated seeing you design alot of them.. :D

its easy isnt it, buy the oil get the car return the oil to kmart, etc...

I was thinking that I might buy a couple of dozen bottles of oil, and sell the cars for $60 each... :p

yeah true.. sorry . I meant Rod..

and the oil is being sold at kmart? I thought it was autobarn only?

I bet this Brock Mobil One minicar is going to be as popular as the Brock NZ and Lowndes NZ CC's 1/43 models.
