Lowndes 1999 VT.

I bought this Biante beauty back in 2000. Its the 1999 MHRT, one of 7020 produced. What I'm wondering is whats the current value of this car.

I have no plans on selling the car, just curious if its rare (although 7020 is alot of cars)

I have a sakife 99 mhrt, got it as an ebay bargain, have seen them go for 160 though, im keeping mine too. I like the 99 hrt colors best of the vt models

GW Carousel had a 1999 Lowndes car for commision sale.. the seller wanted 300 for it...

Here's one on Ebay albeit with no box (tisk, tisk) @ $96 with 2.5 days to go and gateway have it for $190. I agree, best looking HRT car although the 2003 art work was a ripper, can't wait to see 2004. Come on Malik, crank that handle:D

From what I have seen, the price hasn't really moved in that time. You can pick one up from around $150.00 to $180.00.

So, because it has held it's price this long, I'd say that it will go up over time.

FPR are releasing their livery at the 2004 australian motorsport and last I heard HRT are releasing theirs there also...

keep an eye on my site mate.. ill have them up as soon as I get them!

HRT are listed, it doesn't mention FPR though. I think I might have to poke my head in there:)

I've got all four of the '99 HRT cars and agree that it is definately the best colour scheme. I just wonder why we haven't had any '98 cars yet?
The season cars don't seem to be worth that much but the two Bathurst cars are a different story!

Values dictated by volume, 7000 season cars and only 1000 bathurst cars, throw in the mistake on the skaife (skafe) and you got somthing that will hold its value and only increase. I have not see any 99 bathurst cars sell for less than original retail. As I have said may times before all bathurst releases should be limited to no more than 2000 cars tops making them both a true collectable and something special.

I have the matching Skaife number two car and I have to say I agree I think the paint job is one of the best, I also like the CC Super Cheap paint job.

The prices tend to be all over the place right now. The 1001-3 ATCC season car will bring probably about $40 - $50 with sig. The 1001-4 1999 championship Lowndes/McConnville Bathurst car should bring anywhere from $60 - $90 with sig however, Gateway has it for $28 (no sig) at the moment:confused:
