Ryan Briscoe to make F1 Debut ?

Seems that Toyota F1 driver Mika Salo suffered from a stomach complaint and missed today's first practise session for the British GPat Silverstone. It is unclear yet wheter Salo will be forced to miss the race (qualifying is later today) and whether Toyota would then call on one of its test drivers, either Stephane Sarrazin or Australia's Ryan Briscoe. Fate may favour Briscoe who is at Silverstone contesting the F3000 race which is the curtain-raiser to the Gran Prix. If so perhaps we'll see a special model of Briscoe in the Toyota from Minichamps ?

It was just fortunate (or NOT ) that Mika was well enough to take part in the quallifiyng so that the young Ryan Briscoe will have to wait for another chance to make his long awaited debut
the Toyota 1/18 showcar in very limited ed. (750) is currently available with McNish as the driver
