I would like to get the opinion from you guy's on the forum to see what you think.
In 86 Moffat co drove with Brock for the endurance
races in the VK in what was supposed to be the dream team.
If biante make this model, should it take place in
the BROCK COLLECTION, with the certificate double
signed by Brock and Moffat?
Your thoughts
Yeah tricky one Damian but as all the cars in the Brock collection are from Bathurst(exept Targa car), it would have to stay as a important car of the Brock collection and the Ford guy's would have to treat it like the Sebring BMW either include with thier Moffat collection or not, i dont think it needs any special treatment but thats just my opinion.

I'd say if it was made. It most likely would be signed by both.
As to which collection it goes with, every collector has definded there own set etc. It would fit in the brock or the moffat collection.
Up to the collector in the end. I am one who looks forward to seeing it made.
I guess you could put it in with either Brock or Moffat as part of a collection, but technically for myself, I would consider the VK to be part of Brocky's collection.
As stated elsewhere, Allan was the co-driver, not really the principal driver of the car, so that would be my pick.
I reckon you could apply this to any of the other shared cars by different drivers, especially when you consider that the car/s in question are usually referred to as whomever is the lead driver.
Consider the Moffat / Jackie Ickx XC Falcon. It's usually refered to as being Allan's car, and not Jackies' car.
Just a thought or two...

I think it would be part of the Brock collection as Moffat was co-driver to Brock in the Mobil Holden Dealer Team (Brock's own Team) but it would be nice to have the certificate signed by Moffat as well and it could be displayed with either collections. I think the Bathurst #05 car of 1986 is a great car and the Spa 24 hrs car with Brock / Moffat / Harvey would also be a welcome addition to my collection. :D

I don't care really what collection it would be in (although I agree that it would in the Brock collection). If they make it - I will buy it:)

I would like to see it built and have it signed by both drivers, and make it part of both collections, that way the ford boys will have a holden in their display cabinet!!!!!!!!
Considering "the moff" crashed it at skyline on friday, its the least they could do.......
Just having a light hearted joke boys,, dont ark up. they are both legends of oz motor sport and i would have loved to have seen a bathurst victory for them.:)

too much of a mind twister...... should it fall into one and ONLY one collection, question is - who's co-driving who? hard to look at it from a non-biased point of view.......
so to solve the problem, lets just put it into both collections. :p (does that mean biante would have to make twice the number of models?)

I agree with the kid on this one...Let's (Biante) make it an official part of both collections with both drivers signing the mammoth amount of Certs!...
CHEERS!

double the normal number of moffat collections made - 6000, that'd give you 12,000. moffat and brocky signing 12000 certs, thats 24000 signatures..... how many pens would THAT be??? :D
HoldenMan

One each if they used one of those specially made Space Pens
:p

yes Group A are good, but still begs the question of tobacco sponsorship...... for instance that 1 - 2 of the marlboro HDT VK commodres. those cars would look extremely odd without marlboro stickers.......

hoping they do bring out the vk commodores it would be good as a 1-2 set and if they leavea gap to put your own marlbora decals on ; just like the winfield godzilla and then it will look the part as does the winfield godzilla

If we must have a Moffat Holden lets make it the Bathurst Friday Special ( the bent one ). A sight for all Ford lovers. You cant help thinking there was some devine intervention in that event?
If it hadn't been for Allan's ability it would have gone right over the wall. ;)

would be a funny looking VK commodore without the sponsorships..... :D but yeah, easy to just slap a couple of decals onto them.

one would have thought to have two of the best drivers of that era with there names on the side of the same car it would be a good collectable and that would be one reason to buy one.
As for which collection it belongs to a race team calls a co-driver in not a co-driver calling in a race team
so there for being HDT & Brocky one would think it would stay there
There wasn't any fuss over last years winning combination (Longhurst-Ford)
Hope it is released - a good piece of history:p

Is this the car you guys are thinking of?

You could have two versions made of the car, one for each drivers collection. The Brock collection car could be the normal race version and the Moffat car could be the 'shortned' version or the race day version with the big puddle of oil under it!
