Check out CC's website, looks like they're going to produce legend cars of the 60's & early 70's, GeoghansMustang, Bob Jane etc, looks impressive:)

I fondled a Seton and Ingall CC 1/43 at Sherrifs recently. I was sceptical about these new releases , but I can tell you they look great. I am excited.

goxu, when you looked at the ingall VX, did it look right to you? like, did it look "wrong" at all? (like the old CCs 1:18 VT)
i know the AU looks fine, but the pics of the VX look a bit weird.

hey KID , no the VX looked great....I thought the same thing as you when I saw the first pics. The only thing I could pick out was the body colour never continued under the wheel arches....the wheels looked great , nice and fat and with Dunlop printed on them. And there is plenty of detail inside as well....
later
Yeah i agree with you kid , i have not seen them in real life but they do look wrong, wheels out of scale and ride height looks wrong, even the paintwork looks a bit ????.

thanks goxu. and thanks for reply ando.
the first impression i got when i saw the VX was "very very rough front". and the wheels in the pics look as though they're pushed into the engine bay, as if there's room for another wheel under the arch.
goxu, when you say body doesnt continue under the arches, what do you mean? as in there IS no wheel arch around the back of the wheel?

Hey kid
No I said the body colour didnt continue under the arches. With the Castrol car , where the red and green flash crossed the front wheel arch , it was very noticably white under there. But then this was a pre-release car I think.
They may well fix this up...

OH body colour. oops, my selective reading at its best again. ;) im sure they'd fix it. even if they dont, the overall thing is still a vast improvement from the old CCs.

The pictures we have all seen were apparently pre-production cars. "Pretty stupid thing to do though, use cars that were obviously wrong in a National Press release and all Car Mags". My first impressions were "gee they have put Victor Bray's tyres on the Perkins Commodore" it looks goofy in the pic's.
The cars at Sherriffs are release models, the tyres are still a little on the thick side (profile height). But the improvements are many and I think that most of us would consider them for the cabinet. They may not be Biante Quality "yet" but its early days, hopefully any improvements in qulaity will not effect the price.
Lets talk again once they are released and we all have one at home to disect.

thanks glenn.
i'll expect it to arrive a month after the scheduled date. ;)
I checked out the Ingall & Seton cars over here in NZ at one of our local shops. The improvement on the VX from the previous CC model is huge but I still felt the rear wheels/tyres didn't look right and the rear ride height was too high compared to the Biante product who got it spot on.
It will be interesting to compare them side by side once they go on sale. The ones in the shop were a pre-release only and not for sale. The old CC's sold for NZD45-00 and I was told the new ones will be NZD55-00 which isn't too bad considering the improvement in detail. The 1:43rd Biante versions sell here for NZD80-00.

like you said V8SS, they were pre-release. and those ones looked rather weird. hopefully the real ones will look better. but still, even the pre-release ones are a big improvement from the old ones.

Just saw the new CC 1/43 cars on the weekend
I thought they looked great
Its a hugh improvement on the origionals they dont look
plastic any more,
They reminded me of ONYX or Minichamps 1/43.
for the price I will have no problems purchasing what ones I want.
:D
If I like it, Idont care who makes it.

i tend to agree with that. :) biante won't make the castrol cars, so i'll have to resort to other alternatives.
Also the only way to get a Team Kiwi car. Have to support the local team even if Angus Fogg keeps trying his best to write off the car in practice at Bathurst every year.

Its not a case of dont want to make them. I have chosen not to......simple as that.

chosen not to?
as far as i know, you said a while ago you couldnt make them because CCs had exclusive rights to make them, having sponsored them since 2001.

I was being polite!!
After we made the 2000 cars there was a bit of political football going on and at that stage I decided to bow out of making them, which is my perogative.
And I wont make them again either.

Well they are finally on sale. Got a Seton one today and I can tell you they are very good. I will happily display them next to the Biante product. I have steered clear in the past because they were rather poor.
The under car detail is excellent, the interior is good but as has already been mentioned, the rear tires seem a little thick and rear ride height a little high. The CC Falcon has moveable front steering which the Biante Falcon currently doesn't have and the front wheels are cambered. The Siamese fuel filler has been added with some paint, hard to notice though. Comes in a nice perspex case with a mirrored base. I think they are as good as the Autoart 1/43 commodores. The price is also very agreeable.
Glad to see they have finally come up to the level people expect. If the 1/18 is as good as the 1/43, it will be a big leap forward. The GSR and castol fans now have something to look forward to. Never thought Id say it but it seems there is some competition for Biante.
Are any changes planned on the Biante Falcon with these now on the market ?
I have to admit that I haven't had one out of the box for a good close look but just looking in the shop windows I have noticed that the front wheels on some do seem to be set too far into the guards. Also with the wheels. Maybe if they went to the trouble of painting the centre nuts black, they wouldn't look so cheap.
Sorry guy,s but i had a good look at them yesterday and yes they are an improvement but they still have a long way to go,i think the paintwork on the Seton car is bloody awful and they just don't look right. ANDO.

I had a look at them thinking I would buy them, but I still don’t like them.
They look to fat and bloated, the guy in the model shop got them out of the package for me to compare next to the Biante Falcon & Commodore, no comparison. I still think the Biantes are heaps better.
dose any one know the other cars that classic are makeing this year
