Since nobody as tryed to make a Russell Ingall Canberra 2000 SLX one- off model I suggest Biante do it in 1/43.
What does everybody think about that idea?

Classic have done it, it now sells on average for about $175.00, it was also used in the signature series car.

You are thinking of the blue Magnatec (spelling) paint job.

It would look great to have the two ingal cars, especially in 1/18th

Lets hope that somebody does them.

the castrol magnatec car would be great in 1:18 and 1:43, or even 1:64!

just on the topic of "one-off"cars, now that biante has the VR/VS shell, i think one "one-off" car that should be made is the lowndes VS commodore he drove in winton in 1999, after he destroyed his VT at calder.

for those who can't remember, it was his comeback drive after sitting out of symmons plains in 99. that VS was "reversely" painted, having the blue at the nose of the car and the red at the rear, complete opposite to the 99 season VTs.

also the VS, with same liveries driven by both MHRT drivers in 99 surfers paradise support races and driven by mcconville in symmons plains under car #15 in replacement for craig.

The SLX car was Ingalls 99 race car but his Blue Magnetic would be great since Classics didn't make it.
What do you think admin?

Hey Kid , that reverse paint VS would be a great one to have....you dont even see many pics of that car....the one I really want to see is the Young Lions car that Bargs qualified on pole at bathurst....

Classic Carlectables made that Young Lions 97 car in 1/43 and you can buy them for $80 from gateway models.

yeah, i just thought lowndes fans out there (me included) would love to see that particular VS goxu. i think it would look great next to a 99 lowndes VT. kinda like a before and after sort of thing. ;)
(btw..... lowndesy then went on to writing off THAT VS commodore as well later that year in surfers!!!!! maybe that why MHRT started to give him glares. :p )
btw, if anyone has a site for a pic of that VS, please put it into this thread.

SWRT, that young lions VR that CCs made was one of the best looking CCs of their collection i reckon. nice model to have.
