Like the BMW 3.0CSL, this is a different model to the one Peter drove at Lemans.
When and if the correct body shapes are made we will make them.

Hi Admin
Could you expand on the 'Correct Bodyshape' comment.
I recently picked up the book '50 Years of Porsche at LeMans' which showed the 1984 Brock-Perkins car (Chassis 007) was one of the ex factory team cars originally run in 1982. The book has a comprehensive section on the 956 including a picture of the Brock-Perkins car and I can't see any difference to the other LeMans versions of the 956 ?.
I have 5 variations of the 1/43 Minichamps LeMans Porsche 956L covering 1982 to 1985 and they all use the same body casting ?

There were two versions of the 956 - the 956L for langheck (long tail) and the 956K or kurzheck (short tail). Suposedly all langhecks were from Le Mans, and all kurzhecks were from other races. Perhaps the Brock - Perkins LeMans car was a short tail version but this would be unusual. Both versions of the 956 had a twin-turbocharged engine which I think is why the model is sometimes referred to as the 956T (T for Turbo).
Here's a picture of the car :-
