By now most of you would have seen the new 1:43 models of the Falcon XY Ute from Caldecott Minatures which have been out about a week or two.

Lets give the new boys on the block a bit of feedback - whats your score out of 10 for their first effort ?

PS Anyone want to set up a poll to record the scores.

Well Jager ; you see what happens when you tell everybody that I hang arround in dark alley's:D
Yer get ignored me matey, Pitty that there are no dark alley's at Forrestfiels/Hale rd. this Saturday 2pm, for my planned attack! to defend me 'onour, if I ever had any left.
Will have to be a normal meeting them, with the final planning for the BIG anual event of the Model Car Expo in May.
See you There, by the way do you also like me go to Bridgetown to display? the week after?
I will display the tractors and go with the chappy who collects earthmoving/Caterpillar models.

These "models" are a shocker indeed and I mistook them for another C.C. series due to the packaging

Either I'm being ignored or the Caldecott models are. I'm sure its the latter

Saw a few dumb bunnies paying up to $60 sight unseen for these on eBay when they were first released a week ago but prices seem to have come down around $30 which is still too much in my opinion.

Haven't seen them myself yet, but here is a picture in this old thread (http://forums.biante.com.au/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2220&highlight=caldecott)

Cheers

OK, seen 'em now. Leaving anti-CC bias out of it, I'd put them at 7 out of 10. Not quite as good as Biante & CC's latest 1/43 efforts, but better than Trax. A little rough around the edges, perhaps.
