Having just returned from my local hobby shop with my new 1:43 Steve Johnson BA Falcon, i have a question. When i opened the box and looked at the certificate of authenticity, i noticed that it is in fact a certificate from a Max Wilson car. My question is, how do i get this fixed? Do i chase it up with my local hobby shop or with Biante? Any help appreciated.
cheers

bargs35........
I can't answer your question.......but you have a very unique situation. I personally would rather keep both as they are. Good conversation starter etc......:p
Also your signature..............................i fear you may have that for a long, long time. Best of luck though......:)
Cheers,
Timbo.

Kristy,
Did you have one left over after packaging, or do you have spares?
...and did a Max Wilson car go out without a certificate...
Your last post has made me curious...
Cheers

IIRC there was a discussion on this over on the CC forum, several seem to have gone out with the certificate of the other DJR driver.

Bargs35,
Definitely not a unique situation, I have two Steve Johnson certificates (one being included with the Max Wilson car). I didn't think that there was a lot that I could do about it.
It does mean that I had one less coupon for the display case.

From what I heard there was a mix up which saw all of the two DJR cars get the wrong certificates put in their box.
ie: all car 17's had a Wilson & all car 18 had a johnson one.
Apparently this was done when the cars where made & before they were shipped to Australia.
cheers. :)

So did I, Liegh, but i think that would have been because your car retailer (like mine), had swapped them over for you.
cheers. :)

Well, well, well... my Max Wilson has a Steve Johnson Certificate too! Delivered direct form Biante, so supports what you heard Brchi17.
I'm not too fussed. COAs (and special packaging for that matter)are not a big thing for me - all I want is the model.
