View Full Version : Packaging-XW Candy Apple Red
Admin,
I know you have said in the past "do we collect the cars or the packaging" but is there any reason why the Candy Apple Red XW has been released in an Autoart box instead of the White Biante Classics box as the XY's were.
Are the XW's made by a different manufacturer than the XY's?
Are any more to be released this way?
I don't know about the rest of you but I prefer the White Biante Classics box that the XY's came in .

Yes Gary i would have to agree with you, i think in my opinion the white boxes are better for transporting and storage of the models, i find the white polystyrene insert is a great way of packaging. And some of us have to store our models until our display cases are made or purchased, but i do keep the boxes in the unlikely event that i have to move house or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Paul,
I was actually referring to the White Biante Classics Window Box as this was the box that most of the XY' s were released in, along with the Toranas, DJR XE and XD . A couple of XY's were released in the Closed box with the foam but this latest XW in the Autoart box is no where near as appealing for presentation as the original White Biante Classics Boxes.
Why is there a change in packaging?

I think would have been nice in the biante classic box. For those of us that can only display them in there boxes at present, it would have blended in better. Also the XW is a classic, so also wondering why in the other style box. Not complaining, as I am happy that I can see it, till the time comes, that I can display it with others.
