As far as I knew Jason Bright came second overall and Marcos Ambrose ran third overall, and I also rechecked these results on the V8 supercar site. Yet Finishline has stated Marcos Ambrose as second for the day with Jason Bright as third. Can anyone shed a bit of light on this?

Hi stonee, Ambrose did come 3rd overall at Oran Park today.
In race 2, Ambrose came 2nd and Bright came 3rd.
That's where the confusion must have been.
No need to guess who won ( AGAIN ).
Getting a bit boring::rolleyes:
Cheers, from (MRS modelcarmad). & a V8 supercar fan.
Until next time, BYE.

While you're on the subject of Oran Park, does anyone else think Max Wilson should have been pinged for the two instances with Jason and John Bowe in race 1?
Opens the question about consistency with the officials again!

The finishline competetion goes on the results of the last race for the day, i raised this question last year with Biante, points standings overall on the day are not included in the competition

modelcarmad - not to start another V8s are boring argument, but if Mark Skaife is good enough to win the rounds then good luck to him! I would think it is harder to be fast and pushing yourself when you are out on your own and not to lose concentration and make a slip up.

I am sure that Max Wilson is a secret Holden spy employed to take out as many Fords as possible.
Could just be rumour though..???
