does anyone know where i could get lighting for a cabinet that i have been building.

i think small halogen lights similar to those used in display cabinets in shops would be ideal, but have no idea where to get them or how to set them up...i assume i need a transformer or something for low voltage globes??

thanks

As well as any good lighting shop. Keep in mind that you are not allowed by law to fiddle with the 240 Volt side. On the 12 Volt side you do what you like. Need to keep in mind the maximum loading of the transformer to work out the collective load of the globes.

just a word of caution...these globes can get very very hot and may damage models/cabinet.
.....do not discount 16watt florescent tubes, these can be purchased prewired 240v

Go the way terrine sugested, safer for your cars and the softer lighting looks better.
cheers;)
