All,
Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this model? I have never seen one in person except in photos and just wondering what the level of detail is like? For the original price I assume it is quite good???
Thanks.

I think it is a great looking model. First time I saw one, had to add to the collection.
Only thing wrong with it, the dam gov laws, making the decals not come with the car. Once you buy the missing decals, the car has no problems in my opinion.

I have the "Calsonic" Skyline, and it's a pretty good model, albeit not up to date standards. So, don't expect even the current AutoArt level of detail. Among my gripes are an extremely obtruiseve dog legs, sub-par interior detailing, and poor wheel detail. Unlike other older Kyosho efforts, the paint is first class.
While it cannot compete with the even the earliest Binate efforst like Torana and XY, it's a unique model worthy of addition to the collection. However, it's extremely hard to find and commands high prices on secondary market.
Regards,
Sergey

I am fortunate enough to have 3 of them (no I am not a hoarder intent on selling them on at later date. I am a diehard GT-R fan), and I have to say that I am disappointed in the quality. I expect alot more detail and quality, and would have been prepared to pay the extra price to get a proper AutoArt/Biante production. Ten year old Kyosho moulds don't cut it anymore. Maybe I am being a little harsh, but I honestly expected more. I also have the Calsonic Skyline, and once again, it was disappointing, particularly when put alongside more modern offerings.
No, I am not interested in selling any of them - they cost me a lot of time and money to trace them, and I can't bear to think of parting with even one of them. So sorry everyone who wants one and can't find one. I too had to pay well above release price to secure the second and third in my collection.
So if Biante/AutoArt want to produce an R32 and R33 GT-R Skyline in 1:18, I will certainly be standing at the front of the queue...

while on the subject of the nissan GT-R`s , is there any chance of the '91'nissan GT-R to be released as this also would be in the bathurst winning collection ?
and also don`t need winfield stickers for this one .

I too would love to see the '91 Bathurst winner, but not in the Kyosho mould. However, I can't see it happening any other way.
