View Full Version : No more driver pairings at Bathurst?
Any-one else see Tony Cochrane flag the idea of a return to single driver races at Bathurst on Channel 10's V8 Superstars last Sunday. The audience certainly let him know what they thought. If I was not mistaken I believe he was even suggesting a plan to introduce 2 x 250km races. Any thoughts?

I'm sure he was referring to the other enduros NOT bathurst for single drivers and multiple races.
I think that would be a great idea it would certainly seperate the Men from the Boys. They did it in the 1970's with cars you really had to drive, so why can't the stars of today do it, they have better machinary and are alot fitter than when they last had solo edurance races.
Regards
Dave from Kiwiland!!
He was refering to the Queensland 500 or Ipswich 500 what ever it is called now that's why the drivers were asking how the Bathurst co-drivers would get any racetime in the car prior to Bathurst.ANDO.
Thanks Ando. The audience certainly didnt like what he had to say though!
