The Bathurst car had a number on each side of the bonnet. It may be the year that Moffat won in the 65e as I think this was the only time that they could run with the front and rear spoilers.

On the bRochure that comes with this car it says "Bathurst in 1974 along with "Big Kev" Kevin Bartlett.
Also says that Gossy leant Allan Moffat his car after his was stolen in Adelaide which Moffat won 1976.

Hope that Helps

All Bathurst cars of that era have a James Hardie 500 sticker on them somewhere, it is not a bathurst car.

I don't know about it being a bathurst car or not but if it doesn't have a Hardie Ferodo 500 decal on the door somewhere then it isn't a Bathurst car. I do not have this car and have never seen a brochure for it but if the brochure says 1974 ? it is dead wrong due to the fact that in 1974 Goss did win the Hardie Ferodo 1000 in a Ford XA Superbird and this being the same year that Moffat entered his Brutt 33 car. Regarding Goss loaning his car to Moffat in 1976 and Moffat winning in that year is also strange cause Moffat won in 77 with the great 1/2 finish and the winner of the 1976 classic was Bob Morris in an L34 Torana. So if the brochure that came with this car does say all these things it could explain why this Goss XY doesn't seem to rate to high with collectors, or is there more to it than that ?

Thanks all.
I have seen this on the FAQ page but I have seen people selling a Goss GTHO Phase III and saying its a Bathurst car and was wondering if this is true - but I guess it isn't and Richard would know ;)
Hmmmmm... I wonder why people are trying to sell them off as a Bathurst car?

thanks.
