Nick Names For The Forum Members

I realy think it would be appropriate to either bann or make any persons involed with using lewd or offensive nick names at least change there nicks
There are many members on this forum and i have noticed a name pop up for a new member that could be rather offensive to some of the members IE: LADIES or the wives of some of the members who have a look on the boards

just a thought i think it should be kept clean

Mate I'm with you on this one. It seems new members are being moderated but their name still appears under the newest member bit until then.

I cannot believe that it could get through like that.

Maybe admin need to have the right to approve peoples nick names before they are registered, similar to the way pictures are not approved until admin has seen them.

Admin, I just registered a new member Maximus Home so people didn't have to look at that crap.

You can delete that Member first then delete Maximus Home if you could please.

Considering we can't post pics with the dreaded ciggi lables, I find it a joke or a major stuff up (by someone that deserves a dam good floging) that the ones vampire is talking about have been allowed.

There are 3 answers...

[list=1] All registrations go via Biante...i.e. effectively you email Biante and they register you. I see this as too time consuming and costly for Biante.
Block the IP address/s...if the person/s involved have rotating/random IP's then Biante contact their ISP and have a permanent block to this site impossed. If somebody has a lot of time/money, they can get around this by having multiple accounts/ISP's etc...
Shut down the forum...Let's all hope it doesn't come to this!

I really hope it doesn't come to shutting down the forum. I don't know where these idiots have some from all of a sudden but I wish they'd go back and hide under whatever rock they crawled out from in the first place.
There are a lot of people who regularly get a lot out of using the forum and to have this risked by a mindless few is annoying to say the least.

I think we'd be better served raising this directly with Admin rather than on the forum, notoriety is exactly what these dropkicks want!
