Hi, just a question reguarding your decals, what is the better type to use water/slide or vinyl. and if its not any trouble could you state why and what looks the best as i would like to purchase some for the brock A9X and any others down the track.:)

I think FF has stated that the waterslides will be better for the A9X. Maybe due to the moulding over the wheel arches and the gap over the doors. I am not sure how difficult it is to cut a vinyl decal in the case of the door join.
Can't wait to see what these look like.
Interested to know others thoughts re the water slide/vinyl issue for this model. Also maybe FF is only making water slides? Would cost too much to make both I would think. If they are as good as the B&H decals I think I will get the waterslides - plus they are easier to apply than vinyl.

I have the vynal on the Harvey torana and they were quite easy to apply and look great , had no trouble with the wheel arches .
I also got the water slides for the sierra and found trying to get them to adhese to corner edges ie the bottom of the rear hatch rather difficult but managed in the end , unfortunately some time after applying them the N on the drivers side has somehow for some reason come off ? so now I have a Benso & Hedges longhurst sierra .. :(
I feel with the vynal ones this problem wouldn't have occured .
The one thing I do like about the waterslide Decals is that they sit flush against the paintwork where as the vynal are reasonably thick , But I guess time will tell which is truely the better decal .
The only thing is now I'm a little apprehensive as whether to
use the waterslides , but the models look kind of bare and not the same without decals . So for me it's a case of what to do .

I will make both vinyll and waterslides.
The website has been modified and they are both on the ordersheet as a *preorder*
After having a very good look at the model in Question ,I will use waterslides for sure ,as they will be sitting better in my oppinion on the model in the front and rear area.
Especialy the bonnetpins ,as mentioned before, are a hinderance in applying decals.
I will see if I can come up with an easy sollution to deal with the pins.

Just a question
over a period of time, wouldnt the vinyl decals be better than the waterslide ones.
I know on plastic kits over the years thay start to lift,
maybe they use better glue now. ???
