How many models make up the Moffat collection and what would be considered a reasonable price to pay for a complete set?

Could the Murray Carter 73 XY GT be part of the Moffat collection as he raced this car after he car was stolen very early on the morning of the round, all you would need is some black tape to put over Murrays name on the front guard, and be brave enough to brake the passenger side exhaust pipe so it hangs down like it did during the race.
Maybe we could get F.F. to make the correct decals to cove the name?:D

all you need is a bit of black vinyl and some brute strenght for the pipebending exercise, soo you do not need me:D
In the flesh, this model is absolutly a knockout, and like the hystoric one ,once you see one yer want it! by hook or by crook exhaust.

I know i don't need you for some black tape, but you've done such a good job of the other ones.
And this car WILL be part of MY Moffat collection.

Talking about the Moffat collection, I just got the 1975 sebring 12hour winning BMW CSL which Moffat drove with 3 other drivers in the USA
the model is made by minichamps 1:18 scale. Its nice to have something other than Ford in the Moffat collection, can't wait for the 1983 ATCC RX-7:D

I just got that one too, one of the only Moffat cars to have gone down in value not up! It looks great in the collection.

I'm thinking of getting some Moffat cars probably only the future releases. Would it be a good investment you know get maybe two of a popular model then either sell/swap one for future models purchases?

????Isn't that what all the talk regarding the Brock A9X has been about? People taking more than one model per person and leaving none for other collectors? Can't have it both ways, if a model is popular everyone wants it. If some people hoard it then there just won't be enough to go around for everyone. I can understand people wanting to swap down the track for other expensive models but to me it is just the same as hoarding to cash in later. No offence ment, but people can't complain about shortages if they are happy to get multiple models themselves to swap.

I realize that. And I'm not trying to get anyones back up but I realize that while TRUE collectors may wish to hang on to an extra car or 2 to sell or trade at a later date to fill in gaps in their collection, it does still result in the same shortage in models that sees other TRUE collectors missing out. I don't have any duplicates 'cos I hardly have the money to buy what I want now. Saying that tho the No.9 GTHO will I believe be a popular car.
