Displaying my ignorance again, but why is the Greens Tuf XE fetching so much when winning cars like the Tru Blu XD and Grice VL SS go for so much less? Is it that the original XE was very popular, although I would imagine the VL would have been a crowd favourite in '90.....Or is it just that people think the model looks good in that livery?
Maybe it is in the Production Number Nick. 8274 Tru Blue were made and only 5100 of the Green's Tuff. That is probably why Admin has posted the Thread on guessing Production Numbers as this as what they have to do with every new release.

Dave fron Kiwiland!!
I was going to ask this very same question Nick. It obviously comes down to the production numbers (which I didn't know) and the supply and demand. I guess the same thing may happen with the DJR Sierra.
It will be interesting to see what numbers will be made of the new XE and I guess this will prove just as popular with pepole who missed out on the first one.
Personally I'd like to see the VN Group A in road trim as well as race trim. If it hadn't been for the reliability of the Skyline at Bathurst in '91 then this would have been the Bathurst winner for Grice and Percy again.
