1:43 "Collections"

At the (what is hopefully) dawn of a new batch of 1:43s, I have a wish (which will probably be in time for Christmas!).

How about driver collections like 1:18? Moffat 1:43 collection for example. Might be a bit late with the modern Brock and Johnson cars, but the 70s and 80s, 90s cars can go into the collection.

maybe do a similar thing to 1:18s with the boxes etc. just something that might make the coming 1:43s more interesting and collectable. :)

You will find that alot of the Moffat cars that have been released in 1/18 are listed on the site in 1/43... Good for 1/43 collectors but if you bought the 1/18s because the 1/43s were not available you would be spewing.

Just to correct what I said - the Moffat cars are showing as 1/64 not 1/43... my bad. Good for the kiddies.

yeah the 1:64s are listed. 1:43s are yet to be seen.

having a driver collection in 1:43 would be nice. especially a moffat collection. :)

If you're prepared to settle for Trax, you can sorta get a start on 1/43 Brock, Moffat, Bond & Janson collections with various Toranas & Falcons. Combine those with the recent Brock Bathurst Commodore & Targa Monaro releases in 1/43 & you can get it happening.

Admin gave a list of cars that will be getting made in the Biante 1/43rd thread Here (http://forums.biante.com.au/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5585) and with a lot of these being older cars, I guess the same licencing rules will apply as to what teams they can make so we should see a lot of Moffat, Johnson and Brock cars being done.

steve, thanks for the advice. but yeah i'd rather wait for biante/autoarts. not to take anything away from Traxs. just that i already have a lot of them.

yeah in the previous thread about 1:43s admin gave us a list. (and said that there would be about 2 new ones a month!!! admin??? :) )

i know eventually the moffat, brock, johnson cars will be released, but im really hoping there would be driver collections, perhaps with a pic of the driver on the box just like the 1:18s. i'd love to eventually have a set if 11 or 12 moffat cars in 1:43, all belonging to an official collection. :)
