Hello all,

I guess this is a question for admin......

When will we be able (or should that be.....are we going to be able) to start pre-ordering the Brock VR Commodore? It looks like its going to be a hot seller......

Cant wait to get my hands on one...or two.....

Let's all hope that Biante restricts them to "one per customer" on the mailing list. I know we can't stop buyers getting more than that from the shops, but at least others may benefit by ordering them direct from Biante.

I'm sure you wouldn't be displaying two of the same so I gather you want to profit by obtaining a second to sell at an inflamed price. Sorry if I appear to be attacking you personally, I'm not. Just the profiteers who do this on a regular basis and rob true collectors of a chance to obtain certain models.

Hi VRSS,
I think you'll find Biante does have a STRICT "one model per customer" Policy. It is the shops and dealers that sell more than one to there "Loyal" Customers.

My 5 year old son (who just had his birthday today) is also becoming an avid model collector. If i dont get one for him.......then im history!

Is there a limit as to how many shops can order? How many are actually available for order when they become active on the website?

We have just on 300 stores who are authorised stockists.

When we ask for the orders it is usually 4 months in advance.
If they want to order 2 million, we will, factory capacity allowing, make 2 million.

If they order 2000, we will make 2000.

Not that we make specifically to order, because in some instances we have a production capacity problem and cannot make them all, but in the case of the collections (Johnson, Brock, Moffat) we advise the stores early that they will only get X quantity and to not sell more than this number.

The website gets its order form just like everyone else and gets it back in by the required date and gets cut back when necessary like all the stores.

If Richard orders 200 XYZ cars for the website, thats it. When they sell out he is out of stock.

ALL items we know will be hot are automatically limited to ONE per customer. Try to change the quantities box on the order form and it won't...it is defaulted at one.

Brock VR is a sensational model...we have made 6000, but (can you believe it) the stores have NOT ordered all of them, so when you are told by some of them that they "got cut back" as happened with a certain model early this month, it is also not true. The website will get allocated all the spares. It will not be on preorder as the Moffat twin set will be on pre order around the same time, so we will hold the VR.

Hope that answers some questions.

Thanks admin. Yes it does answer some of my queries. So does that mean the number of model available on website for non-stockists order depends on how many stockists have ordered prior to their official release?

As stated previously, all being well, it will be released after the Black AA car is released at Bathurst....so about 3rd week of October.

What it means is that authourised shops will get what they ordered, non stockists will get NONE and the website will get what it has ordered plus the balance of the 6000 not ordered by the stores.

When a shop order form is sent out I get one and place orders for the site in consultation with admin (I am still learning) and it gets recorded exactly like all of the Biante stockists around Australia.

then, IF there are some unallocated stock available once the shop orders are filled and website stock is sold out it is gradually allocated to the website as required.

97 is a long way away. my guess is next year.

95 is 3rd week of October though, looks better than 97 i reckon, but it is a more special car.

Is there a Perkins/ Greg Hansford car planned? Greg Hansford is Missed by me. I met him a few times and a model of his car at Bathurst would be very nice

not for a while ferraifan - a long while.
the perkins/hansford 93 was a VP. we've only just begun with the VR/VS! ;) they have no VP mould yet.
im sure biante (i hope) will make it when they have the VP mould some time down the track.
