Hi all

Just a question and i apologise if this has already been asked. How ever I dont know the answer. My collection is now over 40 cars includiing all falcons and holdens except V8 super cars. Now some of the boxes are auto art but most are biante classics whats the differance.
Are they 2 differant collections
thanks Jamie

The difference lies in the detailing of the models themselves. In ascending order the quality goes from AutoArt to Biante Premiums, topping with Biante Classics. With the exception of DJR's Sierra and Skaife's "Godzilla" Skyline, all other Biante releases were produced in conjunction with Gateway Global, owners of AutoArt (and previously UT) trademark.

I hope this is helpful,
Sergey

It also seems to me that the Fords are done in the Classic and/or premium brand whilst the Commodore's are Autoart.

Am I right and does anyone know why this is so??

I'm sure that Biante Admin could set us straight on what relationship the various trading names have with each other.

I was given to believe that whether a model was a BIANTE or an AUTOart depended upon where the model was made. For instance, I understand that the AU Falcon models are made in a different Chinese factory to where the VT/VX models are made.

I am however still confused as my L34 Torana is Biante boxed and my A9X Torana models are AUTOart boxed.

I do not know the exact details, but as far as I know, Biante makes australian cars only. AutoArt makes cars from all over the world, but Biante gets AutoArt to make some australian cars as well. As far as manufacturers are concerned, they're different, but all under the Biante umbrella.
