Anything happening for bathurst this year??

I get to go to Bathurst for the first time this year and would like to know if Biante are doing anything down there?

Bathurst '02 will be the 25th anniversary of the famous FORD 1-2 in 1977finish & as everyone knows,
Biante are releasing this twin set in October
to mark this occasion.
It will also be Brocky's return which also makes
it 30 years since his first Bathurst win back in 1972.

Biante is planning to release the Brock Commodore (in various scales) which will be competing at Bathurst.

heres a idea, it would be good if Biante or (other parties) would have a tent at race days around the country where Biante collectors could could meet and greet, and put faces to user names, with maybe a few vip benefits also. (Keep dreaming uh!)
Just an idea but maybe to hard to organize being so late in the V8 season.

There is the "xu1's on the mountain" at Bathurst this year.
Lots of xu1's on display and doing parade laps. They will include lots of good original road cars and some famous racers.... Well worth the visit just to see them alone...

In regards to models - what about a 1/18th bathurst pace car for club members ? There have been some good looking pace cars used in recent times....

Trevor, Richard and I will be over for the Great Race and of course would love to meet collectors there.

Just working on a venue, time/s, etc. If we are able to put something in place in time, will let you know.

A semi club get together at Bathurst sounds good to me Biante might even be able to get us a couple of drivers to sign cars/certificates................................. .Saturday sounds good...................fingers are crossed:)

We are working on the Bathurst gathering and so far so good. Looking good for undercover venue on Friday around 5pm at the track. It will not be possible to have a venue of this standard later into the weekend.

We will keep you posted and as soon as we have confirmation of venue and time will let you all know.

I was planning on getting to Bathurst on Saturday morning, but if the Biante meet-up is a definate, looks like I have to tell the boss i'm crook Thursday night, and take the Friday off to get my fix of Biante.:p
