Hello again,
Just another thought:
There are alot of good contributors on these posts. Some of you out there have made me change the way i think about certain things.
Alot of you have also kept me informed about various products that have been released or about to be released by Biante.
Maybe, its about time we started paising these dedicated posters (admin included) in some sort of fashion.
Forums like these are much needed. They put collectors together, make us air our views and generally fave fun.
Other forums they have a top 10 list of dedicated contributors and other forums actually do a small article about dedicated posters on a regular basis.
I guess what im trying to do here is keep this forum going. Well not actually going...i want it to thrive and grow.
To everyone out there in cyber land. Keep up the good work !!!!!
As you have recently been "promoted" to a "senior" member having posted 50+ times within a month of joining, I can see where your post topic has come from.
The question must be asked, what do you rate as a "good" poster?
There can be a difference between a prolific poster and one who adds quality to a subject.
This is not pointed at anyone in particular, but sometimes I read some of the posts, mostly replies, and say to myself "This person just wants to see their name up on the forums."
Others just get involved so they can argue F... vs Holden.
For me, I would qualify a "good" poster as one who gives quality information that helps the discussion or starts a valid discussion point.
Therefore you would need judges, most likely Biante staff, to vote on any "reward" system that you suggest.

Hmmm.....
I hope your not implying that im trying to beat my own chest here!!!
I also consider a good poster a person who is able to contribute useful and valuable information to other likeminded people, such as yourself.
It doesnt really matter if they contribute 1 post or 100. As long as each post adds something to the overall scheme things and what we like doing best....collecting diecast.
I do have alot of opinions about diecast collecting. If you dont like my opinions then simply dont read any of my posts.

ANSWER: I think we nearly all are. Some of us can express what we want to say, better than others. I fall into the others group lol.
We are all part of the puzzle so to speak, every little bit from each of us, totals up to good reading and information, for us all to take in.
