I do not know if other forum members have had the chance to enjoy the telecast of the Sanddown 500 on SBS,with a very sick sounding Will Hagon, who is a BIG modelcarcollector from WAY back
The telecast when it finaly got uncder way was great and no Adbreaks every 24.5 sec . The racing was great and just like the old day's
They should not handicap the Ferrari's with the restrictor! the outcome of the race would have been different.
with the different classes running there wasn plenty of action going on everywhere.
Hopefully Tony Cockcroge has been watching! and does something about the format of the Supercarseries procession ,he takes enough $ out of the kitty for him to actualy do something for a chance to inprove the spectacle for us the publik
Hopefully the longdistance race is as it normaly is; very entertaining.
P.S. what is this adict buissnes ? I am not addicted,am I?
I must prove the point to myself and buy another model, lets see which one do I not have as yet?:D

Yeah I watched the telecast as well and thought
it was great. The Brutes were alot of fun, along
with Sam Newman getting pole position for the
main race. He should by himself a lottery ticket.

Didn't see the race live, but i taped it and watched it last night.
What a race !!!!
Well done to Tratty and Stokes,
I hear that for the 24hr that the Ferrari's and the Lambo will not have the PROCAR installed parity items (restrictors, extra weight etc) and so it will be one to watch.
Don't get me wrong (i'm a V8 fantanic), but to see JB flying across the mountain in the Ferrari and the awesome power of the Lambo up and down the hill will be something to watch.
If the QLD 500 is half the race yesterday was it will be a pearler!!!
