I've perused the new arrivals pages and catalogues of two of the largest US diecast online vendors and discovered that both of them offer 1:18 AutoArt/Biante Hoden CV8 V2 in variety of colors for sale. This is the second Holden model EASILY available to the public following Mustard VT prototype. I'm wondering why did these particular models make the cut? Did AutoArt just happened to pick them or did Biante have something to do with this? If latter is the case, why not add ATCC Holden's VT to the worldwide distribution, especially considering that there is an abundance of them on clearnce sales in Australia.

Sergey

As stated back in April, in the second half of the year, we would be shipping MODERN road cars to some of the world distributors. They, along with the VT2 Clubsport and GTS are in the latest catalogue. This helps us to have a worldwide presence in the catalogue and expand the collectors interests. Also a great lead in to the Pontiac GTO due soon.
There will be no race cars for overseas distribution.
There will also not be a repeat of the oversupply of race Commodores again..in fact this year it may be hard to find some of them.

BTW, the retail price for CV8 V2 varies from $45US to $70US (quite a difference) depending on the retailer. I'm not really into street cars, by the yellow one looks pretty hot.
