If you dont ask!!

Would have been suprise if it had been, as you (biante) have said the 12th is of a car that hasnt been put into production yet (or work to that effect) Like the new VE or torana If it's Made!!!!????

Must be my frame of mind lately, ironic how an FX, FJ & a HSV aren't "re-hashes".:) What was that company called again?...............Twacks? Snacks? Pax?

They've just added a nice 1/24 Wild Violet Ph.III to their site, if it's now not "Verboten" to mention other brands here............? Or is a Ph.III also a re-hash?:D

What round were these added?

Roof vents were Darwin, by then the Bridgestone on the rear quarter was replaced by HSV...

Was the rear quarter still Bridgestone when the CPS lights were introduced...

Cheers

I thought the CPS lights were initiated at Adelaide...

Richard Poole

The CPS lights were first used at Clipsal.

The roof vent that is on the model is actually from PR2 which was incorrectly added to the decalled sample.

the race cars first used the currently roof vent in Darwin.

Gee Steve.lighten up.
By the way....who else has made the FJ, 48-215 and VZ in 18th????
If you cant name any, then I guess that means they arent re-hashes. Eh??

Admin, "don't argue with an idiot. People watching may not be able to tell the difference."

Hmmmm, now where have I heard that before?

Ummmmmm, lighten up? That's what :) & :D mean, don't they?
If you want to split hairs on scales, then feel free, but fact is (and you know it as you OWN Trax models) that the 48-215 & FJ have been made before, several times. Albeit "only" in 1/43 & 1/24. Does a change in scale negate that? As the VZ is the new "current" model, of course it's not been made, but I thought that was obvious.
What I thought was ironic, Admin, was the way you piled in on the "CC" thread as soon as it started with the "re-hash" comment. Something about "glass houses" applies there, I think.
Anyway, my post was meant light-heartedly, hence the "smilies".

Thanks, info. My 2, 5 & 6 yo's know better than to call names. Refer my (polite) reply to Admin. You could take some lessons in manners.

Steve, the 4 cars listed are recolours or repackaging. To me that constitutes a re-hash.
A 1:18th FJ an 48-215 are brand new models, as is the VZ. Yes, a change to 1:18th DOES constitute a new model.
Nothing to do with 'glass houses'.
I merely wanted to show what we had in the pipeline that no one has seen pics of before. Including me until about 5 hours prior to me posting them on here.
Hope I can be allowed to do that on my own Forum!

Allright. I thought this may happen... :D I think there has been a misunderstanding here. I think info blizzard thought that you were another Steve who uses the "don't argue....." quote in his signature... Thats what I think happened.

BTW, I think a new scale does mean a new car.. There are some 1:43s that I would LOVE in 1:18 and vice-versa...

Great to see the VZ and though its not a great angle, could Admin tell us if the front bumper corners have been changed from the VY as they do look more in dimension on that prototype shot. Good work.

Ok, no offence intended or taken. I think it's a matter of opinion, though, especially where there's only a small difference of scale, ie: 1/24 & 1/18. My opinion obviously differs to yours.:)

If the car the model is based on then yes, if not then no. We'll include it on the model as it is needed.
