I've never seen these at $700? The most I've seen these top out at has been $300 - $350!
The 0000 has always out priced it and that has probably averaged about $350 - $400!

Never understood that. The car is pretty much the same as the standard 1997 HRT release -- say $50. So $300 for a different box?

I used to have Brocks 1005-1 and his helmet but I sold them for $200 a couple of years ago! I was pretty happy with that!
Holy crap, I paid $25 for that when I was 12. Never been out of box and hidden in a box from th sun, how much would that be worth?
I have a whole heap of the old cc ones, anyone know rough prices for:
Brock 96
Brock 97
Brock Bathurst 97
Brocks Helmet
Lowndes 96
Lowndes Bathurst 96
Lowndes 98 VS
Skaife 98 VS
Murphy 97
Young Lions 97

I've just finished selling a few off that list on ebay.. All depends but I got 250 a while back for the farewell car and up to 60 for some of the others.. You could be lucky or unlucky from the results I've seen.
I remember the farewell car selling for 550 but as soon as we had the range of cars increase its steadily dropped..

I got mine from Gateway Models a few years back and they had another one there. It wasn't listed on their website so try them and see if they still have it.
Other than that, they show up from time to time on ebay.

That would be the 1001-2 car!
They peaked at just under $200 from memory, one went on eBay a week or so back for just over $100.
There is a guy with a load of early CC cars in the Sell section on the CC forum has one advertised for $40, I can't vouch for him or if he still has it!

I don't understand why these fetch big bucks anyway. You can dress it up any way u like,it's still a crappy plastic-looking early CC model in my book!
I'd rather Biante made one seeing as they made the 1:18.

No matter which way you dress it up, there are no other 1:43 versions of this car available (I don't think Dinkum did one?), yet;)
