I believe that the next car in the Brock collection is his own roadcar in blue.
From what I can gather it is very close in being released.
So if you collect Brock................... :)

I guess that imples that Brocky wouldn't have signed the COAs.

I'm predicting a server meltdown on this model and I for one will be at my keyboard when it arrives but the Nations Cup Monaro is currently In Production so maybe that model has jumped the queue. Either way, I'm getting both.:)

Mate, as much as I want the 75 car, I've got too many others sitting at my retailer waiting for me to pick up...

Cheers

Despite the fact that I'm still waiting for the 24 hour car to arive, I've reserved a car park in my cabinet for the blue Monaro. I was seriously interested in buying the real deal when it was for sale...kick myself now

I'm really glad it isn't. I'm getting all the Brock collection and didn't particularly want this model.
Brock is famous for racing above all else. Race cars only in the Brock collection will do me nicely. ;)

now i do not why this is a P.B. car i know the colour is different but what else?

What make it more appealing then a standerd one?

If you collect Peter Brock model cars than it could be a simple matter of "Must have" like the Volvo and the Vectra.
although they are a different scale and so fort ,these are cars that Peter Perfect DID race/drove.
I am only making you aware that it will be available.
It is up to you if you want it or not.

heh when i heard about it I thought bugger it, dont have room, dont need it

Just checked my email and thought bugger it, its the first time ever ive checked the status of a car and had it tell me numbers are in high demand and to continue in immediately to secure the car! So I did, hopefully its worth it.

Next week its the 1999 Wynns car

On top of that i'm supposed to be saving for Oran park in 3 weeks time, plus savign for bits and pieces for our new Adventra (like mats for a start) which should arrive from the production line sometime next week

I wasn going to wait -- but think I will end up getting it. It was Peters personal car and as mentioned has other mods over the standard monaros.

I wonder if the engine is different ? ?

Will look good next to his Targa Monaros and the 24hr monaros and the HK and HT monaros :D

As far as I'm aware the monaro is the first, mind you PB changes cars lie there's no tomorrow so anyone modelling them would be hard pressed to keep up..

I had an opportunity to speak with PB at Winton a while back. He indicated that the road car is similar to his Targa cars. Same engine (5.7 ltr) but tweaked to 360kw. With this, the rotors and calipers are bigger to give some stopping power. As to any other mods don't know. This was some impressive beast, I saw this car constantly around my area as PB lives not too far away from me, just looked like any other Monaro except for the colour and with the "MNRO 05" plate, it always stood out.

The Portofino Blue CV8 comes in a regular Autoart window box and the certificate of authenticity states a build quantity of 2,000.

There is a story in last months Aust Muscle car ( i think) on a yellow targa monaro owned by an ex truck racer and it has a run down on the brock car, it was a test car for the racing models and My Young over there in WA has a very similer model (MMMM nice) . Its a good read will check which mag it was in tho.
