REAL MOTORSPORT AT ORAN PARK THIS WEEKEND
If you love motorsport, and let’s face it who doesn’t, get yourself out to Oran Park this Saturday and Sunday for the 6th round of the NSW state Championships. If you have never been to a round of the State Championships you are missing some of the best motorsport action in Australia.
For an entry few of $15.00, less than a tenth of the cost of a two day V8 Supercar pass, you will enjoy two full days of racing action with 10 categories competing on a 30 race programme, 20 races on Sunday alone.
It never ceases to amaze me just how much of a well kept secret State Championship racing is. In one day you will witness capacity fields in 10 categories including Improved Production, Combined Touring Cars, Sports Sedans, Formula Ford and the Crowd favourites HQ Holdens, and make no mistake, these guys are serious racers.
The way Sydney weather has been lately I couldn’t think of anything more enjoyable than being able to drive your car right up to the fence, set up the BBQ, sit back and enjoy a full days racing action. Now that’s true motor Racing Entertainment.
