We have had a squillion requests for Phase 2 and 3 Falcons from new members, shops and collectors, so will release 4 of each car in colours not previously made in 1:18th over the next 24 months.

The Bronze Wine was released back in March, so we can't be far from hearing about the next one. Any takers on when and what colour?

I vote for Electric Blue but with a black stripe and bathurst globes. Like the one in the FPV ad.

As for the XW i'll have a Silver fox with flouro stripe and five slotters thanks.

Electric Blue and Globes for me too! Stripe colour gold or black (the 1:43 with gold looks good).

I would love a black XY too but I doubt it after the 2004 historics car. A black one in 1:43 would be nice.

Hi Chups

Wes Charles did this car originally. I think that he got the decals from Patto's, but I can't say for sure. The car started life as a John Goss Blue XY and Wes also stripped another damaged XW or XY for the wheels etc. He did a good job on the car and the photo doesn't really do it justice.

Cheers
John

XY

1. BLACK WITH GOLD STRIPE
2. YELLOW GLO WITH BLACK STRIPE
3. LIGHT BLUE WITH BLACK STRIPE

XW

1. WHITE WITH GOLD STRIPE
2. SILVER WITH ORANGE STRIPE
3. DARK ORANGE WITH BLACK STRIPE

I know orange is not a orignal colour but a I have seen a replica xw done in a dark orange and it looked tough.

The Bill Burke XW would be fantastic as long as it is depicted right,
it has to have the sunroof
gold fleck in the paint
a big block under the hood
exhausts exiting in front of the rear wheels
and the correct rims

Sounds good don't it

Unfortunately the gold flake would be impossible to replicate in 1:18 - even the 1:1 was mistaken for plain black by many people. The only way you could do it would be to have the flakes far too big, and they would look wrong. A metallic black would be the closest you could get.....

I think it would be one of those paint jobs that no matter how hard you try as it such a small scale you couldnt perfect it, Nick your right a Metallic black really being the only option. I just hope Admin is reading this thread and is taking note !!! :p

Just though I'd bring this back up as another XW + XY road car can't be far way from rearing their pretty heads
